The Smiling Thoroughbred offers mobile consultancy services where Veronica will come to your yard and assist you with resolving any  equine behavioural and welfare issues you may have in one to one tailored training sessions.

Rates: £30 per hour and £0.30 per mile. A typical first visit would be two hours to allow for a thorough assessment of both the horse and its environment. Veronica provides a full written report and is always generous with her time.

Lessons in Long Reining

Learn the art of long reining in a your own personal training session. Sessions can use your own horse at your own yard (school not required), where often the owner learns as much as the horse, or if prefered they can involve the use of Veronica's favourite mare 'Lily' at her home in Hampshire. Lessons usually last one hour (approx). Rates: £30 per hour and £0.30 per mile if travelling is involved.

The Smiling Thoroughbred run a variety of weekend courses which aim to highlight how you as a horse owner/carer can benefit from the latest advances made in the fields of equine veterinary medicine and related sciences and how these advances can help you make educated decisions on the design of management strategies for your horse.
